She started off on the popular television show Barney at the age of 10 and by the age of 21 she has now become a major pop music star. Our city was lucky enough to host her Stars Dance Tour last night as it made its stop at the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo.
The fans were eager and started to arrive early yesterday due to the anticipation of seeing Selena Gomez show off not only her voice but also her dance moves as well. They all brought signs, homemade t-shirts, face paint, cameras and even photographs of the star in hopes of her catching a glimpse of them while she performed.
The show started off with James David doing a quick set of some quality old-school mixes with a little bit of new school music followed by the group of Emblem3. After Emblem3 was done with its set, I was not sure if any of the girls in the audience had anything left of their voice due to all the screaming that occurred while they were on stage.
When Selena Gomez hit the stage I found out that they had plenty left. She ran through all of her hits, never missed a step in her dance moves and looked great doing it! She looked like she was really enjoying her time on stage performing in front of the crowd at the First Niagara Center.
Selena Gomez impressed a lot of people last night including myself. Not only is she an excellent performer but she also has a long list of films/shows that she has appeared in. Her debut album, ‘Stars Dance,’ was released this past July and has created quite the buzz around the pop music scene. If you have not heard, hop onto iTunes and see what the buzz is all about when it comes to Selena Gomez.
