Hate This Films channels ‘90s scary movies in new short - VIDEO
Local production company Hate This Films debuted a brand new short over the weekend, and the theme is just right for the Halloween season.
"Everyone Knows One" is a spoof on '90s horror flicks, like "Scream," which pit a helpless young woman against a mad, costumed knife-wielding murderer -- except "Everyone Knows One" acknowledges one particular modern technological advancement: social media.
According to the YouTube description:
"A girl (Vanessa Kharmen) with an intense liking for herself and a certain social media site, spends a night in her worst nightmare."
Hate This Films is based in Buffalo, with actors and crew members from Western New York.
