Nick Kroll spoofs Toronto in ‘Wheels Ontario’ bit - VIDEO

by Kathryn Przybyla  •

NIck Kroll has hit (sort of) close to home with a clip from his sketch comedy show, “Kroll Show.”

Wheels Ontario” takes the cake as a pseudo-Degrassi with Kroll starring as Mikey, a polite Bieber look-a-like who moved to Toronto from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This bit is something any Southern Ontario/WNY native can appreciate.

Our favo(u)rite quotes from the video?

“Here, take this Looney. Buy yourself a bag of milk.”
“I know you’re all obsessing over who you’re going to take to the Poutine Dance…”
“People in Toronto don’t tuck in their blouses, they want to dress well here.”

According to Comedy Central, “From the unique mind of Nick Kroll comes a new sketch series, Kroll Show, satirizing our television obsessed culture and the rabid fan base it breeds. More than just a collection of sketches, Kroll Show, is about giving Nick’s fans a chance to see his of-the-moment take on pop culture, sports news, nightclub culture and what defines celebrity with characters and storylines that recur throughout the season.”
