We may not be New York City, but Buffalo is on its way to becoming a fashion mecca.

Last night, I got the opportunity to take in a few runway shows and mingle with the Queen City’s fashion elite at the Main Runway Event for Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week. With my iPhone and Instagram app ready to go, I shot a few pictures from my night at Statler City—as did most fashion fans in attendance.

The building could not have been a more beautiful backdrop for the runway shows and cocktail hour. Marble statues, crown molded ceilings, enormous columns and exquisite chandeliers were the perfect setting for a classy show like this.

An overall success for event organizers, the people, the food, the celebrities and not to mention the clothing, made up for a great night in downtown Buffalo. Take a look at some of my photos from the 2012 Buffalo Fashion Week below.
