Anthony Bourdain brings ‘Guts and Glory’ to Buffalo

Chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain is shuffling off to Buffalo this spring, “guts and glory” in tow.

Bourdain, who won an Emmy Award for “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, The Layover,” announced the Guts and Glory Tour late last year, and Buffalo was just recently added to the official tour lineup.

According to a press release, Bourdain will “dish up candid and hysterical insights about his life’s work and travels, including an open question and answer session with the audience” along his tour, including his April 22 date at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St., Buffalo.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show at Shea’s range in price from $45 to $75, not including taxes and fees. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available for $122, which include “premier seating,” a tour poster and laminate, a post-show meet and greet reception with photo opportunities and autograph session.

Bourdain is no stranger to Buffalo. He visited the Queen City for a rust belt-themed episode of “No Reservations” which aired in 2009.
