Restaurant suggestions for Valentine’s Day

You can never go wrong with a great plan for the old wine-and-dine on Valentine’s Day. And you wouldn’t be alone—according to the National Restaurant Association, 70 million American go out to restaurants every Valentine’s Day. Luckily, Buffalo has enough options to satisfy your guy/gal this Thursday. Whether it’s a fancy steakhouse, a healthy vegan spot or something cheap if you are on a budget or a broke college student, there are no excuses—there’s something for everybody on V-Day.
Left Bank, 511 Rhode Island St, Buffalo. Located on the West Side, Left Bank can described as “classy and relaxed but trendy.” This tasty European restaurant is perfect if you want to impress your significant other.
Shango 3260 Main Street, Buffalo. Have a taste of New Orleans in the Northtowns. Shango is a romantic yet casual Cajun restaurant that will help spice up your night.
Merge, 439 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. How does a Valentine’s Day Extravaganza sound to you? This Allentown vegan spot is offering a four-course aphrodisiac prix-fixe menu. There will also be a photographer capturing couples enjoying their night out.
Saigon Cafe, 1098 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo. Take a trip to Elmwood Village and have a wonderful Thai dish. Dress casual—and save some money with their low prices
Acropolis, 708 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo. If you love Greek food and want to treat your date to an authentic Elmwood Village experience, come to Acropolis. The recently renovated restaurant is conveniently located across the street from an M&T Bank in case your date gets a little expensive.
Tempo 581 Delaware Ave, Allentown. If you’re in the mood to throw on your cleanest pair of slacks, or your fanciest evening dress, don’t hesitate to come to Tempo. It’s an upscale steakhouse that’s the go-to place in the Buffalo restaurant scene if you want to impress someone special.
Bacchus , 56 W Chippewa St, Buffalo. If you decide to take a stroll on Chippewa Street, stop in at this romantic wine bar. “Delicious food, exciting and reasonably priced wine by the glass and great space.”
Hutch’s, 1375 Delaware Ave, Buffalo. This intimate American restaurant with a full bar can top off a great Valentine’s Day night. A review on Yelp notes, ‘Perfectly cooked food, excellent service, lively atmosphere, and great wine/cocktail selection.’
Pano’s, 1081 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo. Panos is an inexpensive casual Greek restaurant that’s perfect if you want quality food but also keep things informal. Located in the Elmwood Village, Panos is ideal for a date night in a budget.
Trattoria Aroma, 307 Bryant Street, Buffalo. An upscale Italian restaurant that straddles the edge of the Elmwood Village and Buffalo’s West Side, Trattoria Aroma provides a menu with a variety of antipasta, pizzas, pasta and secondi.
Bambino, 297 Franklin St, Buffalo. Great beers, great people.” Bambino an inexpensive Italian place that’s casual with a full bar.
Seabar, 475 Ellicott St, Buffalo. Trendiness and sushi is a great combo to awe your date. Seabar is a relaxing place to enjoy ANOTHER WORD with great prices for the customer
