Think you’ve got what it takes to shake it with the Buffalo Jills? Auditions have been announced and here is your chance.

Kicking off next week, the Buffalo Jills invite you to strut yourself in Orchard Park for a chance to be one of 40 lucky ladies selected to the squad.

According to the team, “The NFL Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders hold open workshops and auditions for cheerleaders, dancers and models beginning Tuesday, March 5th. Jills Director, Stephanie Mateczun, Nichole Ranney our Coordinator and well-known choreographer, Kelli Wagner, insure that the Jills are in top-notch shape for game day performances as well as appearances.”

The squad has released this statement with ALL the audition details and additional information on look, optional workshops to prep, style and what to bring. Be sure to read through it carefully for all the information needed to try out.

Although formal dance experience is not required, it does help with the routines. Also, all girls must be 18 or older in order to audition for the squad—there is no age maximum though. In addition to the 30 or so dancers that will be selected to the squad 10 or so “Ambassador Jills” will also make the team.

These girls do not participate in game performances, but are a big part of the team—doing appearances, etc.

Here are some things to bring to the audition and workshops:
—Completed audition application
—Legal photo identification
—$50 non-refundable application fee
—Any optional workshops fees and payments

In terms of compensation, the Buffalo Jills do not get paid for practices or game days but they do receive payment of $35 per hour for outside appearance requests.

The girls also receive one ticket to each home game and benefits such as tanning, modeling opportunities, travel opportunities among other things.
