Buffalo makes list of best cities for trick-or-treating

When it comes to Halloween candy, Buffalo kids can count on getting the very best sweets and snacks in their candy sacks.
According to the Zillow Trick-or-Treat Index, which ranks the top 20 cities for trick-or-treating, Buffalo is among the best places to collect candy on All Hallows’ Eve.
Coming in at No. 17, Buffalo scored its place on the list because of a few key factors considered by Zillow number-crunchers:
- Zillow Home Value Index
- population density
- Walk Score
- local crime data
“Based on those variables, the Index represents cities that will provide the most candy, with the least walking and safety risks,” a Zillow blog post concludes.
