Concerts postponed due to Sandy: Yelawolf, Cypress Hill

blog by Ben Tsujimoto  •

Although Hurricane Sandy created catastrophe in New York City and along the East Coast, it didn’t trouble Buffalo very much. Still, the Queen City is feeling its effects in other ways, as a few local concerts have been postponed as a result of the storm.

Yelawolf, who was scheduled to play Halloween night at Town Ballroom, has had his show rescheduled to Nov. 11 at the same location. According to After Dark Entertainment, all purchased tickets will be honored on the new date, and refunds are available at the point of purchase. Here’s a link to the future dates of his Slumerican Tour.

Cypress Hill and Action Bronson were slated to appear at the Ballroom on Thursday, but Funtime Presents has pushed that show to Nov. 30 due to traveling restrictions caused by the storm. All tickets will be honored at the new date as well.

It’s encouraging to see that both Yelawolf and Cypress Hill have postponed their Buffalo concerts rather than cancelling. Currently, it’s a tad inconvenient for Yelawolf to roam from Silver Spring, Md., on Nov. 10 to Buffalo the next night, then rolling down to Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, Va., by Nov. 13.

Now watch Yelawolf and Kid Rock say the word “roll” as long as they can:
