CONTEST: Feist and your favorite numbers - UPDATE

Feist will be taking the stage on Sunday night at the harbor, and we are giving away two pairs of tickets to the show.

Tickets are going for $10 pre-sale and $20 day of show so save your cash and win free ones from us instead. Known for her incredibly popular (and arguably only) hit “1234,” we can obviously assume those are Feist’s favorite numbers. But now, Buffalo, we want to know your favorite numbers.

To enter, all you have to do is tell us your favorite number and why. Type your responses in the comments section below between now and 1:30 p.m. today. Everyone who comments with his or her favorite number and why will be entered to win one of the two pairs of tickets. I will announce the winner at 2 p.m. today.

Feist’s show is part of the Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor series occurring at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf.

Winners must be able to pick up prize from our offices at the Buffalo News by end of day Friday. I will contact the winner directly to make arrangements.

2 has always been my number.. not always my favorite, but it is now. Always finish second.. school.. sports of all kind. Not a bad place to be.. keeps me motivated to be #1, but know it’s better than 3rd or 20th! Lol. Now.. u r giving away 2 pairs (2) of tickets.. lol.. B 2 is a great BINGO #.. 17 - in my early 20’s I lived in a house (#17) with some of my best friends ever. We all (7 of us) got tattoos of the #17 in different styles so we can alway remember our times together. It was an amazing era of my life!

My favorite number is 8. Its a round and even number. It even looks nice and feels good when you write it out.
My birthday is 4-8-88 and being a pre-mi baby, I am so happy I was born on this day instead of my due date in june. Best thing about the number 8 is, if you turn it on its side, it is infinite :)

8. When I was a kid I had a random interest in spiders, and I liked the fact that they had eight legs. Spiders now scare me to death and for some reason I still like the number eight.

420 - because not only is it my birthdate but also my freinds mother, who saved my life as a teenager. Also I am a believer in the legalization of hemp & marijuana for medicinal, industrial, textile, and agricultural purposes. The information is widely available, do some research and its hard to argue against.

The number 7 has always been my favorite number. Since I was a kid the number 7 followed me around, I was number 7 on every sports team I played in as a kid, baseball, from tee-ball up to coach pitch, and then the 3 years I played soccer. Also, on my 7th birthday I won 200$ on a lucky sevens lotto ticket my dad bought me LMAO it’s one of the only lotto tickets I’ll play to this day, I ended up buying a playstaion with my money.

8 - it’s the month of my birthday…the age i was when i learned what a “lucky number” was…it’s even….and most importantly, it’s infinity turned sideways. How could any number be better?

11 - It’s the sexiest number to say, its multiplication table is super cool, it’s symmetrical and it’s prime. “i” and “e” are also pretty sweet numbers.
