More excited about the commercials this year instead of who is actually playing in the Superbowl?

Then join the Advertising Club of Buffalo for Uberbowl IV—a meet up for sports and commercial enthusiasts to critique this year’s advertisements instead of the players.

The fourth annual Uber Bowl Commercial Review will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, at SoHo Burger Bar, 64 W. Chippewa St., Buffalo—the day after the big game.

According to the Advertising Club of Buffalo, “This colorful review of the most entertaining, controversial and talked-about Super Bowl commercials will be anything but ordinary compared to last year. We’ve brought in the professionals to moderate – WGR-550 AM morning show hosts Howard Simon and Jeremy White, and we’ll feature a talented panel of local advertising experts.”

Those experts include Jillian Benedict (Senior Copywriter at Eric Mower and Associates), Monish Bhattacharyya (Executive Creative Director at SKM), Colie Blake (Global Brand Marketing Manager atNew Era) and Jay Josker (Sports Services Manager at Buffalo Niagara Sports Commission).

Panelists will be divided into teams of two for a spirited, yet competitive, debate loosely based on the popular ESPN television show “Around The Horn.”

Tickets for the event are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Additionally, SoHo will offer two-for-one drink specials on the night of the event and appetizers will be provided.
