At 2 p.m. Saturday, the German American Musicians will host an Oktoberfest at the Erie Canal Harbor Wharf—the site of the Buffalo Place Thursday at the Harbor shows. Tickets in advance are $6, $10 at the door and $60 for a table of eight, and they can be purchased at Lagerhaus 95, Scharf’s Schiller Park Restaurant, Omega Deli in West Seneca, both Chick-N-Pizza Works locations and the Buffalo Brew Pub. As Buffalo Rising’s Newell Nussbaumer passed along from his experience at Oktoberfest last year, this festival is flooded with entertainment from every perspective. For instance, pitchers of German beer run for 13 $1 tickets, 14 oz. individual German beers run for five tickets, and full meals and snacks from Scharf’s and Chick-N-Pizza Works are also available.
