Creating engaging content sounds like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be, and Social Media Club Buffalo is here to help novice video producers through the process of creating quality multimedia.

SMC Buffalo is hosting “Let’s Get Digital: Creating Online Connections with Video,” a workshop led by Mike Bean of Bean Media Productions and Franco Ardito from YNN, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Red Cross, 786 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.

Topics to be covered in the workshop include: managing a YouTube channel, creating quality video on a budget, basic editing tools and integrating video with social media channels.

“Video gives the opportunity for marketers, business owners and bloggers to engage with their audience on a whole different level. This workshop will give attendees all the tools necessary to create video on a variety of budgets, maintain a video presence online, and learn tips from the pros,” Social Media Club Buffalo president Jennifer Macey said in a statement.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. The event is free for paid SMC Buffalo members.
