With a great week of music ahead, here’s a couple stylish artists to check out.
Young Empires, a Canadian world beat haute rock band based in Toronto has a cool indie look that screams alternative rock star. The group will be performing alongside Royal Teeth at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Town Ballroom. Tickets for the show are $12 in advance, $14 the day of show and can be purchased through the Town Ballroom website.

Gretchen Wilson, a redneck country girl keeps it casual with tanks and a tight pair of blue jeans for most of her shows. The singer from Pocahontas, Ill. will be playing at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Seneca Niagara Casino. Tickets for the show start at $35 and can be purchased through the casino’s website.
