Just announced: Rihanna kicks off world tour in Buffalo - VIDEO

Live Nation announced today that pop star Rihanna will kick off her Diamonds world tour March 8 in Buffalo, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 21, according to Ticketmaster.

The six-time Grammy winner will also play nearby Toronto on March 18 at the Air Canada Centre as part of the North American leg of the Diamonds tour. Those tickets go on sale Sept. 17. Visit Rihanna’s official website for a full tour schedule.

News of Rihanna’s new tour comes right on the tail of the debut of her latest single “Cockiness” at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Thursday night. Watch the performance below.
