New gelateria opens on Elmwood - PHOTOS

There’s a new spot in town to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Gelateria Luca is now open at the corner of Elmwood and Potomac with a great variety of homemade treats. In what was an empty building since “room” left for Hertel Avenue, the Italian cafe should thrive with a great location.
The family-run shop is looking to share their variations of gelato, cannoli, frozen yogurt and coffee among other things with the Queen City. I’m especially looking forward to the cheesecake bites I saw mentioned on their twitter.

Stopped by last night on an evening walk. A wonderful surprise addition to the village. The staff was incredibly friendly and the gelato was delicious. We opted for their fruit sorbet which was so vibrant and full of flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try more favors!!
