Palm cross how-to - PHOTOS, VIDEO

A week prior to Easter Sunday, Christians commemorate Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, an event described in each of the four gospels.

To mark the occasion, Christians throughout Buffalo—and the world, for that matter—will gather dried palm leaves and contort them into crosses this Sunday. I like to call this practice palm-y origami.

Having grown up in Catholic schools and majored in religious studies at Canisius College, even I never quite got a handle palm-y origami, and I’m sure others struggle to make a tidy cross from a dry leaf, so I figured I’d share some tips and tricks that I found floating around the internet:
