Swap apparel at spring clothing exchange

The Spring Clothing Exchange will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Pierce Arrow Film and Arts Center.
Communify, formerly known as Buffalo Friends Co-Op Initiative, began as a Facebook page encouraging the use of exchanging and bartering, as well as creating opportunities to help others in the community. After receiving tremendous response, creator Stephanie Brochey rebranded and has launched as Communify: Buffalo. The Spring Clothing Exchange is the first event being held by Communify and Brochey hopes it will “bring people out from behind the computer and start to get them connected.”
For the clothing exchange, Communify is asking guests to being clean, gently worn clothing in good condition, but attendees are encouraged to bring as much as they’d like. After hanging on the appropriate racks, attendees are free to browse. Event organizers only ask that people leave with the same (or less) amount of clothes that they brought in.
All leftover clothing at the end of the event will be donated to Goodwill.
The Clothing Exchange will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Pierce Arrow Film and Art Center. Admission is $5 and the Black Market Food Truck will also be on hand to serve guests from their mobile deli. Following the event, guests are also encouraged to head across the street to the Pierce Arrow Bar and Grill for an after party featuring $2 drink specials.
