UB Center for the Arts reveals schedule for upcoming season

UB Center for the Arts released the schedule for its upcoming season, and tickets go on sale Friday—and you might want to get ‘em sooner than later, because a bunch of these events have been known to sell out at other venues.
Expect everything from Broadway musicals and comedy, to dance, films and fiddlers. Buffalo.com’s Ben K. is especially amped for Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, stars of ABC’s “Modern Family.” They’ll be in town Oct. 20. I’m all for seeing Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy—“masters of the fiddle”—perform in the spring. There’s seriously something for everyone, so take a gander at the full season lineup below:
Sept. 8-9 Green Day’s AMERICAN IDIOT
Sept. 22 Back to Buffalo 4: UB Dance Alumni All-Star Concert
Sept. 22 Steve Vai
Sept. 23 Clannad
Sept. 26 Bruce Hornsby - Solo
Sept. 29 Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Two Man Group
Sept. 30 WYRK Fall Acoustic Concert

Nov. 15 Bellydance Superstars: The Magic of Dance

Tickets for the events above go on sale Friday, unless otherwise noted. Tickets will be available at the UB Center for the Arts box office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Buying tickets by phone or online gets a little trickier. According to a UB news release:
“Online and phone orders for events prior to October 1 can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com, or at 1-800-745-3000. For events October 1 and later, tickets can be purchased at tickets.com or at 1-800-223-6000.”
