Yuri’s Night Buffalo 2012
Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA’s Space Shuttle.
This year, Yuri's Night Buffalo will once again be held at the Pearl Street Grill in downtown Buffalo, NY. The event is on Saturday, April 14, from 7 pm to 12 am.
Tickets are $20 in the SBI ticket office in the Student Union (UB North) or available at subboard.com/tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door for $25. Admission includes a free buffet dinner provided by Pearl Street (wings, beef on weck, pizza, etc).
A keynote will be delivered by Dr. Dejan Stojkovic, an expert in cosmology.
Free transportation to and from Pearl Street from UB North Campus will be provided. Please visit Yuri's Night Buffalo 2012 for more information.
