Dunlop Ride for Charity
Dunlop Ride for Charity and Tonawanda Thunder Tonawanda, NY, September 14-15, 2012 – The sixth annual Dunlop Ride for Charity will donate all proceeds this year to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ride for Charity began in 2007 as a one day event, a 70 mile motorcycle dice- run. Throughout the years we have expanded events to include a motorcycle parade, golf outing, 5K run, bike show, and classic car show. We’re also proud to team up with Hard Tales Magazine’s EXPO. This years Ride for Charity events are based at Sheridan Park, 900 Sheridan Drive, in the Town of Tonawanda. The weekend begins with the fourth annual Ride for Charity Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 14, with shot-gun start at 9 a.m. at River Oaks Golf Course, The fourth annual Ride for Charity Motorcycle Parade begins at 5 p.m. at Weaver Motorsports, merges at American Harley Davidson in North Tonawanda, and ends at Sheridan Park. The third annual Ride for Charity five-kilometer run starts on Friday at 6:30 p.m. A pre/post-race party at the park features food vendors, raffles and live entertainment by High Horse and Maria Aurigema. Saturday’s motorcycle dice-run Registration is from 10 a.m. -12:00 Noon in Sheridan Park and concludes at Sheridan park. This year we will have some new dice run stops and still include American Harley-Davidson; Weaver Motorsports. Live music on Saturday at Sheridan Park will be provided, beginning at noon, with The Filter Kings, The JT Blues Band and The Todd Eberwine Band. General admission and parking to enjoy entertainment and all activities at Dunlop Ride for Charity and Tonawanda Thunder events at Sheridan Park is free. Various event registration fees apply.
