Gus Macker 3-on-3 Tournament

It's not summer in Buffalo without Gus Macker. It's the only place where people purposely lose, just to call themselves the Toilet Bowl Champs. After spending more than a decade on the court, some will be retiring, but that won't stop them from coming back to spectate.

Basketball is only half of what the Macker is all about. Two days of walking around downtown, grabbing lunch at T.G.I. Friday's or Prima Pizza, catching up with old friends and one of the best parts, being part of the crowd that swarms the court when two old guys go at it after an "unfair" travel was called. Even though it hasn't been quite the same since they got rid of the Misty Ice cart a few years back, there is plenty of action going on down at Niagara Square.
