Mahler’s Third

The 2011-2012 Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra season is coming to an end, but before they do catch one of the most unique symphonies ever composed. With JoAnn Falletta leading the ensemble, witness the longest symphony ever written, in Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 3. With six movements, this all in one symphony is unlike most others in the repertoire.

In the Fourth and Fifth movements The Women of The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus join the orchestral forces in “What Man Tells Me” and “What Angels Tell Me.”
