Today, the employees at The Larkin at Exchange Building are celebrating the building’s 100 year anniversary by demolishing a replica 450 pound cake made by Zillycakes on Elmwood Avenue.

The crack team at Zillycakes worked overnight building the 15 layer cake using foam boards and wooden pegs. Each employee could vote on the flavor of their respective floor and then enjoy it during their midday celebration. The cake is expected to feed over 2,000 people and cause a building-wide afternoon nap.
