Brawler’s birthday bash

Brawler’s Back-Alley Deli, the pub tucked under the ground floor of Pearl Street Grill and Brewery, is celebrating its second anniversary with a big bash.
From 5 p.m. until—well, the end time depends on how much fun you’re having—March 8, Brawler’s invites guest to down free finger foods, take advantage of drink specials and enjoy live entertainment.
And by live entertainment, I mean a corned beef sandwich eating competition, music from Zak Ward and the Sabres away game on multiple TV screens throughout the pub. The event also marks the tapping of Shillelagh, an Irish red perfect for the impending St. Paddy’s celebrations.
Never been to Brawler’s? I love the place, personally. All the great brews of Pearl Street with a more casual feel. We shot a webisode of Hungry Hungry Buffaloes there a few months back, and I still have nightmares about that gigantic sandwich even Phil couldn’t consume.
