The Heritage Centers will host their seventh annual Corks and Forks from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Hyatt Regency, 2 Fountain Plaza, Buffalo.

The event will feature over 40 local wineries, breweries and restaurants, including Flying Bison Brewing Company, Gordon Biersch, Acropolis, Blue Monk and Lindt Chocolate. Click here for a full listing of the corks and forks participating.

“With all the great local restaurants, we wanted to help promote them and also create a fun exciting event,” said Susan Navarro, special events coordinator at the Heritage Centers.

There will also be music provided by Ron Davis, as well as live and silent auctions. Pre-sale tickets are $60 or while the cost jumps to $65 at the door. To purchase tickets call (716) 856-4201 or visit their website. Proceeds will benefit individuals with disabilities served by The Heritage Centers.

The Heritage Centers Foundation directly supports children and adults with disabilities by securing monetary donations, resources, planned giving opportunities, gifts-in-kind and corporate sponsorships.

The not-for-profit organization’s signature event was previously held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, but the Hyatt requested that Corks and Forks return as their featured event for the fall season.

New this year, there will be a pre-event called Simple Elegant Tablescapes, where local decorators will create themed tables available for purchase starting Oct. 21.
