Denny’s customer tries to pay tab with weed

A Niagara Falls resident with a case of the late-night munchies tried paying his Denny’s tab with marijuana last weekend.
According to Buffalo News reports, the man appeared at the Niagara Falls Boulevard all-night diner to pick up his food shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday. Unable to cover the cost of his meal, the customer offered the cashier $1 and a bag of weed. When the cashier didn’t follow through on the transaction, the weed-dealing diner tried selling his stash to other Denny’s customers.
After failing to find a buyer, the pot-hawking mooch ran into the woods. According to the Buffalo News, police continue to investigate the incident.
