Dunkin’ Donuts holds ‘Iced Coffee Day’ today

Coffee and baked goods retailer Dunkin’ Donuts has announced that today is “Iced Coffee Day” in Western New York. At all locations in the Greater Buffalo and WNY area, one dollar from every iced coffee purchased will go to support Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, the Dunkirk Observer reports.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is thrilled to celebrate the return of Iced Coffee Day to Buffalo. We could not think of a better way to welcome the warmer temperatures than a cool, refreshing Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee,” said Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland to the Observer.

The retailer is known for its double-brewing process, which uses twice the amount of coffee grounds as hot coffee so the iced version doesn’t become diluted. Here’s DunkinDonuts.com’s advice for making your own iced coffee—on every day except “Iced Coffee Day,” of course.

Customers are certainly welcome to get a plain iced coffee, but black cocoa creme, caramel mocha, cinnamon swirl and mocha are also available as flavors.
