Eat chocolate, drink wine, support Catholic schools

Western New York’s Catholic Schools are some of the best in the area, but they lack some of the resources available to public school kids. Catholic school teachers often get paid less than their public school counterparts, and class options are limited for students. Let’s try straightening that learning curve by drinking wine and slamming truffles!

Choco Logo, 141 Broadway, Buffalo, is hosting a chocolate- and wine-tasting fundraiser to benefit our local Catholic schools at 5:30 p.m. April 8. The event is geared toward young professionals, and tickets cost $20. Get a tour of the chocolate-making facilities, pair chocolates and wines, and support a solid cause.
