For Gronk, it’s time to make the doughnuts

NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski may have grown up in Tim Hortons territory, but the Amherst native-turned-New England Patriot now runs on Dunkin’.
Gronkowski announced today that he’s the new Dunkin’ Donuts spokesman.
“We have a tradition with the Patriots; every Saturday morning a rookie has to get Dunkin’ Donuts for the team,” Gronkowski said in an ESPN interview, mentioning that he didn’t grow up with the DD brand, but it made an impression on him later in life. “It’s a great partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts. I’m so excited to be part of it the next two years.”
As part of the announcement that he’d be repping DD the next two years, Gronkowski worked the thrive-thru window at the doughnut chain in Foxboro. Pictures from the event were posted to the Patriots official Facebook page.
