I drank beer, talked about it

by S.J. Velasquez • December 15, 2011 @ 11:48am
Beer buffs Chris Groves, Ethan Cox and Nick Mendola started “Craft Beer Talk” in 2010, quickly becoming one of the most reputable online sources for craft beer and brewing information.
These local guys even tapped the national market, offering their free podcast on iTunes where listeners from across the country go to download the informational and entertaining recordings. The show’s four-out-of-five-stars rating is a testament to the podcast’s reputation among brew-savvy listeners.
For some reason, the “Craft Beer Talk” crew invited me to be a guest on the show. I was both humbled and drunk by the end of the evening. JK. I drank responsibly.
Listen to this week’s podcast below, or download it from the official site or iTunes. In this sixth episode of season two, Cox, Groves and Mendola taste and discuss Tripels, an ale variety with deceptively high alcohol content, while I make references to canned Mandarin oranges.
