In this case, victory is literally sweet.

The Nickel City Chef Cupcake Challenge will take place at 1 p.m. on November 4 at Artisan Kitchen and Baths.

According to event organizers,

Developed by Feed Your Soul and hosted by Bert Gambini, Nickel City Cupcake Challenge is a live, head-to-head baking competition featuring three of Western New York’s most creative and talented cupcake artists, a team of professional judges, and a whole lot of fun for our audience!

The featured chefs for this event will be Justina Adams from The Buffalo Cakery, Gen Perryman from Cupcake Orchard and Kelly Audette from Fairy Cakes Cupcakery. Each competitor is expected to “bring their own style, skill set, experience, and personality to the challenge, and will present the audience with an exhilarating and creative competition.”

Guest judges for the Nickel City Cupcake Challenge will be Brian Donaghy, highly-awarded professional pastry chef and former two-time competitor on Food Network’s “Cake Challenge” and Alli Suriani, a cupcake aficionado and part of the top blogging duo behind BuffaloEats.org. More judges will be announced close to the event.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, for $29 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets.
