SantaCon is coming to town

blog by S.J. Velasquez  •

Santas of all shapes, sizes and sexes will stumble through the streets of downtown Buffalo on Dec. 8.

Be part of the jolly madness that is SantaCon, the now annual—last year was the inaugural Buffalo SantaCon—holiday bar crawl where dressing as St. Nick is highly encouraged.

Santas will gather at noon at the intersection of Franklin and Chippewa, where they’ll begin the “North Pole Stroll” on Chippewa. Registration for the stroll costs $10 and includes drink and food specials, a wristband, and a special gift courtesy of Santa, Labatt Blue and Southern Comfort. Go the extra mile and bring a toy to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Black Rock, and you’ll receive a free drink in each of the participating bars along the stroll.

To participate in SantaCon, register here or the day of the event. For more information, visit the official SantaCon website and Facebook page.

No Santa suit to slap on? You better order something now.
