Smoked and INked at Seabar on Monday

Pork belly tacos, smoked barbecue wings and squid ink arancini—how ridiculously awesome does that sound?
Your smoked dreams will become a reality at Buffalo’s upcoming Industry Night.
Here is a little background on the bi-monthly event.
Held in the contemporary main room at SeaBar and hosted by Feed Your Soul’s Christa Glennie Seychew, IN is an industry night like no other. Open to the general public, but ideally focused on creating a fun opportunity to eat, drink, and hang with restaurant people, IN will feature free tastings, special guest appearances and friendly competitions.
This week’s IN will take place at 9:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 30) at Seabar and is as always, free to attend and mingle with local foodies, chefs and other food industry professionals.
According to Christa, “We’ll sample delicious Pork Belly Tacos from Kevin Richert at Smoke on the Water, a dish made with squid ink from Michael Obarka of Ristorante Lombardo, and JJ Richert of Torches and The Garage Deli will bring down his custom built smoker—which is housed in an old Corvair—and make us some Smoked Barbecue Wings with Smoked Blue Cheese. “
Not bad for a Monday night snack.
Additionally, this will be a unique night in terms of the “inked” aspect. Attendees will get to meet and mingle with the guys from Mike Andrzejewski’s latest project—INK Inc. (a soon-to-be-launched tattoo shop). Yes, tattoo shop.
In line with the “inked” theme, pro-photographer KC Kratt will be documenting food and culinary themed tattoos live at Seabar that night. Many food industry professionals have already signed up to have their image taken.
