See SPoT grow

blog by S.J. Velasquez • October 01, 2012 @ 9:03am
As SPoT Coffee opened doors to its fifth Buffalo-area cafe on Transit Road last month, company reps also announced plans for expansion in upstate New York, Southern Ontario and Florida—and there’s talk of cafes opening in the Middle East.
According to a press release, the company will continue cranking through an “aggressive expansion plan,” which includes opening more cafes in Canada and New York, bringing the total number of SPoT locations to 10 by the end of the year.
SPoT, a Canadian company that opened its first cafe in downtown Buffalo, has the potential to expand even further. The company plans to open two cafes in Glens Falls and Coral Gables in 2013, and more Florida locations are in the works.
According to a “confidential” company presentation available on the internet, SPoT has Middle East licensing, too, and they have tentative hopes to open two locations in Saudi Arabia and one in Dubai by 2014.
