The annual Taste of Buffalo food festival is looking for restaurants, food trucks and wineries to submit applications for the two-day food frenzy in downtown Buffalo.

Organizers for the July 13 and 14 event are on the hunt for food-slinging participants in the festival now through Jan. 31.

In order to be eligible to apply:

“... interested restaurants and wineries must be public establishments, whose primary commercial function is to serve food/wine on a retail basis and be open year round in Western New York. Wineries from the Finger Lakes wine region are also eligible to apply.”

For a second year, food trucks are also invited to participate in the massive food festival which draws eaters to the city’s center for a weekend in July. Food trucks and restaurants must both offer at least one healthy option and a “taste-size” item during the festival.

For more information about the festival, visit the official Taste of Buffalo website.
