If you ever find yourself on Elmwood Avenue looking for a good place for Greek food, then Acropolis is rarely a bad choice. This Greek restaurant has survived the test of time—it’s a little mind-boggling to think it’s been around since 1982—and is still churning out quality food (and beverages) after over three decades of service.
Acropolis celebrated its 31st anniversary on Tuesday evening by welcoming everyone in to enjoy celebratory treats. People were obviously enjoying themselves by diving right into some fine wine and other cocktails but the highlight of the party had to of been the hors d’oeuvres.
The staff over at Acropolis had their hands (and trays) full all evening with tons of Greek specialties including Spanakopita, lamb chops, and tzatiki on a pita. Everybody that was in attendance had nothing but great things to say about this local gem and guaranteed a return visit in the not so distant future.
We have plenty of great photos of the people that were in attendance last night but we also have a some good ones of the food as well. Check out the gallery from Acropolis’s 31st Anniversary Party right here on Buffalo.com and then hop on over to Elmwood Avenue and experience this wonderful restaurant in person!
