Happy National Donut Day - VIDEOS
Happy National Donut Day, Buffalo!
The first Friday of June is dedicated to the women who handed out doughnuts to soldiers serving in World War I, bringing the them a sense of comfort during tumultuous times.
Celebrated first in 1938 by the Salvation Army, the annual holiday continues today. Across America, independent shops and doughnut chains are offering free doughnuts and other goodies to customers.
I picked up a 40-pack of Timbits for my colleagues this morning. How are you celebrating the occasion?
