Scenes from the Wegmans musical
by S.J. Velasquez • May 23, 2012 @ 11:05am
A few weeks ago, a group of high school students sang Wegmans' praises -- literally.
Massachusetts’ Algonquin Regional High School students debuted "Wegmans ... The Musical!" on May 10.
The idea came about when a teacher at the school used Wegmans as a setting for improv scenes in her classroom. The students developed characters over time, and the short skit eventually developed into a full-length musical, with song lyrics written by students and sung to popular tunes.
