Wegmans launches mobile app - VIDEO

by S.J. Velasquez  •

The future is upon us, Wegmans shoppers.

The Rochester-based grocery chain announced recently the launch of an official mobile application, available for Apple and Android devices. The app functions as a store locator, recipe library and more.

The app allows shoppers to create grocery lists based on recipes saved, and the lists can be organized according to aisle. The app, which synchronizes with Shoppers Club card data, even logs past Wegmans runs, adding recently purchased items to a database accesible when logged in on a mobile device.

A list of products and their nutritional information are also available on the new application with a few quick swipes. If you don’t want to scroll through items to create a shopping list, scan groceries in your fridge or cupboards, and those specific items will be added to a grocery list.
