The most expensive secondary schools in Western New York have been ranked by Buffalo Business First, and one private school’s price tag is sure to induce some sticker shock.
The Gow School, a private boarding school for boys with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, is the most expensive school on the list, listed as charging $52,000 for the upcoming academic year. That’s a unique case because it is a boarding school, bringing up the cost of attendance significantly.
In second place is Nichols School at $18,300 for the 2011-2012 academic year, followed by Buffalo Seminary, $16,500; Park School, $16,000; Canisius High School, $16,000; St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, $9,540; and Nardin Academy, $9,100. Read the complete list.
