Local duo rocks the Tralf

One Buffalo rock legend and two local musicians, made for one hell of a show.
This past weekend, Willie Nile took the stage at Tralf Music Hall to a pretty packed house, where not a seat was to be found. The Buffalo native has played along the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Tori Amos, Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, The Who, and Levon Helm.
Tim Britt and Steve Amuso joined forces as the opening act for Nile, under the billed name of “Timmy & Amuso.” While the two have their own musical projects, playing together always brings about a great show.
Speaking with the guys after the concert, Britt expressed just what it’s like to take a stage at the Tralf.
It was an honor and pleasure to open for such an established and veteran songwriter. Willie has been playing music to audiences all over the world for quite some time and I hope to do the same someday. It was also a great opportunity to share my and Steve’s music with a new crowd and get out names out there. Ultimately there is nothing like taking a stage before 200 plus people to share music you wrote.
