The 3rd annual Freezer 5K
by Don Nieman • December 18, 2011 @ 5:16pm
Early bird runners arriving at Mississippi Street found a sunny cold December Sunday morning soon turn gray and sprout a fluffy snowfall as the 3rd annual Freezer 5K was to start. Heart Rate Up.com coordinated the event hosted by WJ Morrissey's and Lagerhaus 95. The participants young and old alike in running gear and holiday costumes ran the 5K route that started on Perry near First Niagara Center and took them east making a right on Michigan, another right on S.Park around the back of the FN Center to the foot of Main, to and from the Erie Basin Marina and finished just past the FN Center near Lagerhaus 95 (95 Perry St.) . The race supported the Buffalo Police Athletic League.

Fantastic photos, Don. Great work. And you captured my caveman brow in full furrow, which was also impressive.
Thank you for the kind words, Ben and I didn’t see any caveman brow.
