Really, Anderson Cooper? Come on, man.

Cooper gave the rest a world a taste of what they were missing this past Dyngus Day on his Ridiculist segment on AC360. On Tuesday night, the CNN anchor poked fun at the Polish-American holiday, with clips and interviews from local affiliates in the area. If you really want “the most bang for your Dyngus buck,” Cooper suggests the Queen City as a prime spot.

It’s all fun and games, until someone got the case of the giggles. With just the mention of “pussy willows,” Cooper completely lost it and couldn’t pull himself together for a solid 60 seconds of air time. Was anyone else uncomfortable hearing those charming snorts of laughter?

He then proceeded to say “this is so stupid” a total of three times in a row. That better have been referring to his fit of laughter and not the Buffalo holiday itself, or he is about to face some serious fury from Polish babcias everywhere.

Cooper then ended the segment with less than convincing well wishes to those in the Queen City.

And to the good people of Buffalo, wringing out their clothes and tending to their beer and kielbasa hangover and pussy willow welts today, happy belated Dyngus Day.
