The Buffalo Bisons should be commended for improving concessions at Coca-Cola Field in recent years (although you can do pretty well with the $3.50 bag of peanuts and a Bud Light twenty-two from the white-haired lady behind first base). Looks like they will need another addition, though—HUMAN BRAINS.

Just kidding! Real zombies are not about to descend upon our beloved downtown ballpark (although if they do, it would be great to time that when Scranton was in town). However, the Buffalo Bisons and Terror Technologies are out to break a Guinness Book of World Records mark for Most Zombies Gathered in One Place on Friday, Aug. 3 at the ballpark. A minimum of 100 volunteers are currently needed, and you probably—I’m not saying for sure—will not need to be infected with the T virus.

Here is the deal, according to the event’s Facebook page:

- You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to the event.
- You must be 16 years of age or older.
- Your assignments will be “Counters” & “Make-Up” Staff. You will be shown how to do the make-up.
- Wear a plain white t-shirt. A “V” and bloody handprint to show you are staff/volunteer will be applied.

The zombie promotion is part of the Bisons’ popular fridaynightbash! series. Gates will open at 5 p.m. LIke beer? Good—there with be 14-oz. Flying Bison available for $2, which is a pretty outrageous deal. Like food? Good—there will be BW Barbecue and meat from Charlie the Butcher for the scarfing, as well. There will be chances to win prizes in on-field contests and trivia challenges. There will also be a baseball game! Sweet.
