After a busy couple of weeks covering the presidential election, looks like Wolf Blitzer can add “thespian” to his resume.
According to Examiner.com,
On Thursday Wolf Blitzer announced on his CNN program The Situation Room that he was in the latest Bond film Skyfall. The movie, set to hit US theaters this weekend, is said to be the best James Bond movie yet. “This acting thing, I might have something,” said Wolf Blitzer on CNN Thursday during his program. The entertainer has a Twitter full of compliments from fans who have seen the movie in the UK as Skyfall was released there before the United States.
A graduate of Kenmore West high school, Blitzer received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University at Buffalo before studying for his Master’s in international relations at Johns Hopkins University.
In a profile by the University at Buffalo, Blitzer is described as one of network television’s best anchors. “One of the most insightful journalists in America today, Blitzer began his career in 1972 with the Reuters News Agency in Tel Aviv, and shortly thereafter became a Washington, D.C., correspondent for The Jerusalem Post. After more than 15 years of reporting from the nation’s capital, Blitzer joined CNN in 1990 as the network’s military-affairs correspondent at the Pentagon.”
“Skyfall” officially hits theaters today in the United States. For local listings and show times, check out our own movie page on Buffalo.com.
