I’ve always been a huge fan of the public library. In the summer during my time in middle school, I used to ride my bike down to the Clearfield or Audubon libraries in Amherst and pick up some new books to read outside.

Now, years later it is awesome to hear about great programs that are keeping the Buffalo and Erie County Public libraries going strong.

According to the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library system,

The “Bucks for Books” campaign raised more than $250,000 that was used to purchase more than 20,0000 books for children and adults at all Buffalo & Erie County Public Library system locations.

Take a look at this video below that sums up the campaign and donations from 1,760 generous donors.
