Buffalo Bills jersey leak!

The Buffalo Bills, who’ve been hush-hush about the look of their new jerseys, were unintentionally beaten to the punch by EA Sports.  The creators of Madden 2012 let the cat out of the bag in a promotional video for their upcoming release (the original video has since been removed). Bleacher Report and Buffalowins blogger Chris Trapasso—a native of Western New York—broke the story, and it was later confirmed with the NFL by ESPN’s Tim Graham (former News sports writer.)  Within the preview, clips of Donte Whitner, Steve Johnson and Chris Kelsay in the new uniforms were leaked.

The new unis don’t represent a major shift away from last year’s apparel.  Here’s Graham’s description:  “The helmets will be white with the blue charging buffalo and gray facemasks. Jerseys will have broad stripes on the shoulders instead of the sleeve bottom. Pants will be blue or white, the opposite of the jersey. Blue pants will have red-between-white piping. White pants will have red-between-blue piping.”

Nice.  Now let’s just hope there’s a season in 2011-12.
