Toronto travel writers can’t get enough of Buffalo lately.

On Friday, Toronto Star writer Henry Stancu listed Buffalo as one of the top ten getaways for our Southern Ontario neighbors. He writes:

“Buffalo, N.Y. is not much further than Niagara Falls (in fact, you can spend a day or two in the Falls and then cross the border at the Rainbow Bridge and take Hwy. 190 to Buffalo) and with our Loonie worth about the same as the U.S. dollar these days, cross-boarder shopping has never been cheaper.”

Other suggestion destinations are Canadian Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Peterborough, Midland, Stratford, Pelee Island and Niagara Falls—all in Canada, and the Finger Lakes region of New York state.
