‘Cold As Ice’

The second game of the Queen City Roller Girls’ sixth home season features the Alley Kats and the Suicidal Saucies. Both teams had a growing year last season and are looking forward to showing how far they’ve come. With personnel and coaching changes affecting both teams, it will be interesting to see this match-up play out.

Individual and season tickets are available online through the QCRG website. Individual tickets can also be purchased at Rainbow Rink or from your friendly neighborhood roller girl. Tickets are $15 each, or $20 each for front row. Tickets can also be purchased at Martinsville Emporium or Terrapin Station.

The game starts at 7 p.m. this Saturday at the Rainbow Roller rink in North Tonawanda—a personal favorite spot of mine, having had many childhood birthday parties there.

Here is a look at the rest of the upcoming season:

February 18—SS vs. NCKO
March 10—AK vs. DD
March 31—NCKO vs. AK
April 21—SS vs. DD
May 12—Playoffs
June 2—Championships
